Plant jewellery of Alex Monroe

|Art & Design, Inspiration

Alex Monroe is a man that creates mostly nature-themed jewellery for women. He draws inspiration from the Suffolk countryside where he grew up and it’s his plant-inspired pieces that we like the most. All of his jewellery is pretty with a vintage, hand-crafted appeal, but it is much more than that, especially when he brings assorted plants together in one piece. Take for example his Wild Geranium & Fern Stud Earrings with Bluebell Drop – doesn’t that sound so lovely, so elegant – and it is, who could possibly not want a pair of earrings with Bluebell Drops? We really appreciate unusual and creative floral rendering in any art form, and we also enjoy being told the name of the subject – Alex Monroe gives us both. Here are a few of our favourite gold and silver plant pieces, all available to purchase from Alex Monroe at Fortnum and Mason.
